Oberammergau Passion Play, 1950 - original purple packet
 View-Master 3-reel set of the Passion Play performed in Oberammergau, Germany in 1950, including story folders. Reel 1 (1550) is entitled “Passion Play, Oberammergau, Germany, 1950, Tableaux,” Reel 2 (1551) is entitled “Passion Play, Oberammergau, Germany, 1950, Part I,” and Reel 3 (1552) is entitled “Passion Play, Oberammergau, Germany, 1950, Part II.” All 3 reels are typeset, carry the Sawyer’s name, and are © 1951. The story folders are 8-panel purple and white foldouts (copyright 1950 by Community of Oberammergau) that not only contain verses from each of the reel scenes, but also give the history of the Oberammergau Passion Play, first performed in 1634 by the villagers of Oberammergau who, praying that God would spare their town from further Black Plague deaths, took a solemn oath to perform the tragedy of the Passion of Our Lord every decade. No more deaths occurred and the Oberammergau townsfolk have given multiple performances of the Passion Play during the first year of each decade since. View-Master 3-reel set of Rebus Game puzzles. So what’s a Rebus puzzle? A brain-teaser dating back to the 1700s that’s composed of one or more pictures and one or more letters that taken together form a word or phrase. For instance, the letter B followed by a picture of a ring makes the word “bring.” The 21 puzzles on these three reels are considerably harder – and there’s no “cheat sheet,” so you’re on your own to figure them out! View-Master 3-reel set of the Christmas Story, including the original story folder for each reel. Reel 1 (405), Reel 2 (406), and Reel 3 (407) are all entitled “The Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, London, England, June 2, 1953.” All 3 reels are typeset, all carry the Sawyer’s name, and all are © 1953. Story folder is a 10-panel royal purple and white foldout that gives a complete account of the coronation. Set comes in its original tan and royal purple packet. 
View-Master 3-reel set of the Easter Story in original packet and including story folders. Reel 1 (EA-1) is entitled “The Resurrection,” Reel 2 (EA-2) is entitled “The Appearances of Jesus,” and Reel 3 (EA-3) is entitled “The Ascension.” All 3 reels are typeset, carry the Sawyer’s name, and are © 1950. Story folders are 8-panel green and white fold-outs that describe each seen in full detail. Set comes in its original white packet printed with purple ink. Each reel and story folder is in its own original Sawyer’s sleeve. 
View-Master 3-reel set depicting the Seven Wonders of the World: Ancient, Modern, and Natural. Reel 1 (B9011) is entitled “The Seven Ancient Wonders of the World,” Reel 2 (B9012) is entitled “The Seven Modern Wonders of the World,” and Reel 3 (B9013) is entitled “The Seven Natural Wonders of the World.” All 3 reels are typeset, carry the Sawyer’s name, and are © 1962. 32-page full-color illustrated booklet edited by Lowell Thomas gives introductory information as well as complete descriptions of the Wonders depicted in the reel scenes. Set comes in its original Sawyer’s packet whose front features a full-color rendition of one of the Seven Ancient Wonders: the Statue of Zeus at Olympia. 
This View-Master 3-reel set depicting the Seven Wonders of the World, Ancient, Modern, and Natural, has exactly the same content and reel numbers as the set described immediately above. The only differences between the two sets is that in this one the GAF name has been substituted for the Sawyer’s name on the packet and the reels and the reel ID information is enclosed in a heptagon, a 7-sided shape also called a septagon. The 32-page full-color illustrated booklet is exactly the same as the one described above. 
View-Master 3-reel set featuring underwater sea life. Reel 1 (B6121), Reel 2 (B6122), and Reel 3 (B6123) are all entitled “Wonders of the Deep.” All 3 reels are typeset, carry the Sawyer’s name, and are © 1954. This is the exact same set of films as the one above, the differences being that these reels carry a different set of numbers, the reel ID information is enclosed in a heptagon, a 7-sided shape also called a septagon, and there’s no patent information. Included 16-page full-color illustrated booklet gives introductory information and complete descriptions of the sea life depicted on the reels. Set comes in its original Sawyer’s packet whose front features a full-color underwater scene.
