Welcome to our TIES section here at Santa Fe Trading Post™

A note from Ol’ Swaphos about the rules:

1. SHOPPING FOR TIES MUST BE FUN!

When I shop for ties it is a very personal experience, a combination of a visit to an art gallery and an exercise in WISHFUL THINKING that must be UNHURRIED. This means there MUST BE lots and lots of ties to view and choose, plus a way to view them up close and personal. All of our ties  are presented first on a background that shows how they will look on a white shirt as well as a blue shirt. Then they are shown as they will look with suits in the black/grey, blue, and brown ranges. As you shop, just click on a small picture and each tie will be presented as a life-size or bigger-than-life image so you can see each and every detail.

2. THE PRICE CANNOT RUIN THE FUN!
SO OUR TIES ARE 50-90% less.

If you are like me, you are a TIE NUT. I just love ties! New ties. Designer ties. Collector ties. Vintage ties. Conservative ties. WILD TIES. Yes, I love all ties....BUT ALL TIES ARE TOO EXPENSIVE! I have developed a place here at the Santa Fe Trading Post where you can find gently worn ties at 50-90% less than the price of comparable new ties.

3. QUALITY MUST BE EXCELLENT
IF OL’ SWAPHOS WON'T WEAR IT, HE WON'T SELL IT!!!

I personally inspect all of the ties we offer and they will be in excellent condition. By excellent I mean if I wouldn't wear this tie to an important business meeting I will not sell it to you! Most are in like new condition and I don't think some have ever been worn more than a few times. We have merely rescued them from the closet for your enjoyment.

4. WE CATER TO ALL KINDS OF "NUTS"!

I know that some guys don't think they are TIE NUTS. They are other kinds of NUTS and ties are what binds us NUTS together. So if you are a GOLF NUT, or a TENNIS NUT, or a SPORTS NUT, we probably have a NUT tie for you. If you don't find it, ask – or ask us to be on the lookout for exactly whatever turns you on. If you are our kind of nut, we expect you will want to come back whenever you get the chance to browse without some guy who looks like an unemployed undertaker following you around the store.

5. OUR CUSTOMERS HELP MAKE THE RULES!

Let us know what you want us to be when we grow up and what YOU would like to see! Just send an email to swaphos@SantaFeTradingPost.com and we will do our best to help you.

Best wishes for a FUN experience!

                                                                                             Ol’ Swaphos
