1994 Pat Day Preakness glass

This is the 1994 Signature Series Preakness glass signed by Pat Day, the jockey who won the 1994 Preakness on Tabasco Cat. Front features a race horse and jockey in front of a black-eyed susan, above which is “May 21, 1994, Pimlico, Baltimore, MD” and below which is “119th Preakness,” all on a frosted midsection. Colors are brown, black, yellow, and red. Large Pat Day signature and this glass is 159 of the limited series of 1000 signed by Pat Day. Back lists all the Preakness winners from 1873-1993 with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown. Glass is the exact same size as Kentucky Derby mint julep glasses, being 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. Perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. 1994 Preakness glass

This is a 1994 Preakness glass that is the exact same size as Kentucky Derby mint julep glasses, being 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. Front features a race horse and jockey in front of a black-eyed susan, above which is “May 21, 1994, Pimlico, Baltimore, MD” and below which is “119th Preakness,” all on a frosted midsection. Colors are brown, black, yellow, and red. Back lists all the Preakness winners from 1873-1993 with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown. We have two of these glasses and price is for each. 1995 Pat Day Preakness glass

This is the 1995 Signature Series Preakness glass signed by Pat Day, the jockey who won the 1995 Preakness on Timber Country. Colorful front panel features a head-on racehorse and jockey in front of a large black-eyed susan, above which is “The 120th,” and below which is “Preakness, May 20, 1995, Pimlico, Baltimore, Maryland.” Colors are red, yellow, gray, black, brown and blue, all on a frosted midsection. Large Pat Day signature and this glass is 186 of the limited series of 1000 signed by Pat Day. Back lists all the Preakness winners from 1873-1994. Glass is the exact same size as Kentucky Derby mint julep glasses, being 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. Perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. 1997 Preakness glass

This is a 1997 Preakness glass that is the exact same size as Kentucky Derby mint julep glasses, being 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. Front features a horse and jockey thundering down the track, superimposed on a huge yellow black-eyed susan, above which is “Preakness 122” and below which is “Pimlico, Baltimore, Maryland, May 17, 1992.” Colors are black, red, yellow, and white. Sides and back list all Preakness winners from 1873-1998, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown. Glass is in perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. 1999 Preakness 1.5 oz stainless steel shot glass

This is a 1999 Preakness 1.5 oz stainless steel shot glass. Its 1-1/2" x 1-3/8" front plaque features three racehorses and jockeys, above which is the Pimlico grandstand, and below which is “Preakness, Pimlico, May 15, 1999, “ with a black-eyed susan and “124” above. Colors are yellow, blue, and black. Tapered shot glass stands 2-1/4" high with diameters of 2" at its rim and 1-1/4" at its base. Perfect condition with no dents or dings. 2003 Preakness glass

This is a 2003 Preakness glass that is the exact same size as Kentucky Derby mint julep glasses, being 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. A top and bottom border of black-eyed susans encircles the frosted midsection of the glass. Front depicts a horse and rider racing past the Pimlico clubhouse, with sun rays and a large black-eyed susan above, and says “Preakness 128, Pimlico - Baltimore, May 17, 2003, © MJC 2002.” Colors are yellow, black, and blue on a frosted background. Back says “Official Maryland Track Caterers, Inc., © 2003 All Rights Reserved.” All Preakness winners listed from 1873-2002, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown. 2008 Triple Crown glass set

Here’s your chance to get a complete set of all four 2008 Triple Crown mint julep glasses: one each for the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness, and the Belmont, plus the Triple Crown glass.

The Kentucky Derby glass has a frosted front midsection and depicts a stylized race horse and jockey in red, white, and blue, with two stylized renditions of the Churchill Downs spires, one in frosted blue, and the other in clear glass. “Kentucky Derby 134” underneath, and “Churchill Downs, Saturday, May 3, 2008 below that. Back lists all the Kentucky Derby winners from 1875-2007, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown and fillies marked with a rose.

The Preakness glass features the 2008 Preakness logo in bright red, orange, yellow, and black and says “Pimlico, May 17, 2008, 133 Preakness, a Magna Entertainment Experience.” Frosted diamonds encircle the midsection and the back lists all the Preakness winners from 1873-2073, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown.

The Belmont glass has a sloping frosted midsection with top and bottom borders of blue and orange. Front shows a racehorse and jockey bursting through an orange circle with blue banners. Wording is “June 7th - 2008, Belmont Stakes 140, New York, NYRA.” Colors are orange, blue, tan, black, and white. Sides and back of glass list all the Belmont winners from 1867-2007, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown and fillies marked with a dot.

The Triple Crown glass features a gold and purple crown on the front, a gold racehorse and jockey, and says “Triple Crown, Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, Belmont Stakes.” The names of the three racetracks (Churchill Downs, Pimlico Race Course, Belmont Park) encircle the glass at top and bottom. Back lists the 11 Triple Crown winners.

All four glasses are 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter, and all are in perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches.. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.
