1980 Kentucky Derby mint julep glass

This is a 1980 Kentucky Derby mint julep glass. It is especially collectable because Genuine Risk won the Derby that year, the first filly to do so since Regret in 1915. The front of the glass depicts Churchill Downs and racing horses, and the back lists all the Kentucky Derby winners from 1875-1979, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown. Glass stands 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. We have nine of these glasses and price is for each. All are in perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. 1981 Kentucky Derby mint julep glass

This is a 1981 Kentucky Derby mint julep glass. The front depicts a race horse and jockey, and the back lists all the Kentucky Derby winners from 1875-1980, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown, and, for the first time ever, fillies marked with what appears to be a flower. Glass stands 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. We have seven of these glasses and price is for each. All are in perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. 1984 Kentucky Derby mint julep glass

This is a 1984 Kentucky Derby mint julep glass. Front depicts a highly detailed head-on drawing of two race horses and jockeys thundering down the track, with “Kentucky Derby 84” above. Each side depicts one of the Churchill Downs spires. The back says “Churchill Downs” at the top, underneath which is an upturned horseshoe flanked by two jockey caps. Colors are brown, black, yellow, green, and red on a partially frosted background. Back lists all the winners from 1875-1983, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown and fillies marked with a red dot. Back bottom says “Official, Harry M. Stevens, Inc., © 1984, All Rights Reserved.” Glass stands 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. We have five of these glasses and price is for each. 1985 Kentucky Derby mint julep glass

This is a 1985 Kentucky Derby mint julep glass. A highly detailed drawing of the post parade in front of the Churchill Downs grandstand wraps around the frosted midsection of the glass. Front says “Kentucky Derby” and “111th Derby 1985.” Underneath the drawing a treble clef staff wraps around the bottom of the glass, including musical notes and “Churchill Downs,” “Post Parade,” and “My Old Kentucky Home.” Back lists all the winners from 1875-1984, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown and fillies marked with what appears to be a flower. Back bottom says “Official Harry M. Stevens, Inc., © 1985, All Rights Reserved.” Glass stands 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. We have six of these glasses and price is for each. 1986 Kentucky Derby mint julep glass

This is a 1986 Kentucky Derby mint julep glass. A garland of red roses with green leaves and stems wraps around the top of the glass and the list of all winners from 1875-1985 encircles the bottom. Triple Crown winners are marked with a crown and fillies are marked with what appears to be a flower. The front depicts the two stylized Churchill Downs spires with “Kentucky Derby 112, 1986” below. The back says “Churchill Downs” and “Run For The Roses,” as well as “Official, Harry M. Stevens, Inc., © 1986, All Rights Reserved.” Glass stands 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. 1987 Kentucky Derby mint julep glass

This is a 1987 Kentucky Derby mint julep glass. The front depicts a horse wearing the collar of  roses surrounded by a yellow medallion that says “Churchill Downs, Louisville, Kentucky.” The Churchill Downs twin spires are on the upper right, and the banner says “Kentucky Derby 113,” below which is another banner saying “May 2, 1987,” all on a frosted background with an unusual brownish cast. The back lists all the winners from 1875-1986, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown and fillies marked with what appears to be a flower, and says “Churchill Downs,” as well as “Official, Harry M. Stevens, Inc., © 1987, All Rights Reserved.” Glass stands 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. We have three of these glasses and price is for each. This is a 1988 Kentucky Derby mint julep glass. The front depicts the Churchill Downs steeples, two race horses and riders, and a spray of red roses and says “Kentucky Derby 114" and “Churchill Downs, Louisville, Kentucky, May 7, 1988.” Back lists all the Kentucky Derby winners from 1875-1987, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown and fillies marked with a diamond. Front depicts a race horse and rider superimposed on a large “115.” Each of the numeral 1’s contains a drawing of one of the Churchill Downs spires, and the numeral 5 contains five red roses. Above is “Kentucky Derby” and below is “Louisville, Kentucky” and “Churchill Downs, May 6, 1989.” Back lists all the Kentucky Derby winners from 1875-1988, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown and fillies marked with what appears to be a flower, and says “Official, Harry M.
