Front depicts a cowgirl on a bucking bronco in front of a saguaro cactus being filmed by an Indian wearing a 2-feather headdress with his bow and quiver on the ground beside him, an apparent reference to Arizona’s film studios, most of which are in the Phoenix area. Back features an Arizona map showing the locations of numerous cities and sites. Colors are yellow and black on a completely frosted background. Features an Indian Chief saying “First Settlers,” the New Arlington Hotel and Bath House Row, the Observation Tower, Alligator Farm, and a race horse and jockey saying “Oak Lawn Park.” Colors are yellow and black on a completely frosted background. Bottom carries the Hazel Atlas mark, so this may be a different Gay Fad California design even though not specifically marked as Gay Fad.  This California souvenir glass stands 5" tall with diameters of 2-5/8" at its rim and 2-1/8" at its base. Says “California” and “The Golden State,” surrounded by five highly detailed drawings: Yosemite National Park, Mt. Shasta, the Golden Gate Bridge, Hollywood, and the California flag and state flower. Colors are orange, turquoise, and brown on a completely frosted background. Bottom carries the Hazel Atlas mark, so the artwork is undoubtedly by Gay Fad Studios, although not specifically marked as such. The 1954-1955 Gay Fad catalog listed a California Scenes souvenir glass. Perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, or color loss. Bottom carries the Hazel Atlas mark, so the artwork is undoubtedly by Gay Fad Studios, although not specifically marked as such. Near perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, or color loss, but what appears to be a frosting flaw beneath the Alcatraz drawing that wraps around to the bottom of the glass.
