Be sure to see our photos of nostalgic gas stations where old-fashioned gas pumps (and gas prices) used to be found!

NASCAR gas pump beverage dispenser

Just in time for your next NASCAR party comes this NASCAR gas pump beverage dispenser that stands 17-1/2" tall with a base diameter of 5-1/2". Shiny metal body has a black & white checkered top and bottom border and colorful Victory Lap stickers front and back that feature crossed checkered flags. Holds 1 quart (32 oz), fillable by removing the screw-on top piece whose finial is in the shape and design of a checkered flag, across which is emblazoned NASCAR. Dispense beverage by removing the gas pump handle and nozzle from their hook and squeezing the handle. Long black hose is encased and protected by a metal wire corkscrewing around its entire length.

By the way, guys and gals, do you know how your favorite sport got started? Moonshiners! Back in the Prohibition era, runners – people who delivered moonshine, a home-brewed whiskey distilled from corn, potatoes, or anything that would ferment – souped up their cars so they could outrun the federal tax agents determined to bust them. These runners often held informal races to see whose car was the fastest, and by the end of the 1940s, the races became an organized sport, thanks to the most famous driver of the time, Big Bill France. Big Bill organized a meeting of drivers, car owners, and mechanics in Daytona Beach, FL, on December 14, 1947, to establish standard rules for racing, and the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) was born. On February 15, 1948, the first official NASCAR race was held on the beach in Daytona, won by Red Byron in his Ford. A week later, NASCAR was incorporated and Big Bill was appointed as its fearless leader. And the rest, as we all know, is racing history!

Our NASCAR gas pump beverage dispenser looks like it’s never been used. Shiny new and with no damage anywhere. Comes in its original box that proclaims “Silver Finish - Tarnish Resistant” and “Officially licensed by NASCAR.” Sure to be the hit of your party, so ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! American gas pump beverage dispenser

Return to those thrilling days of yesteryear with this way cool beverage dispenser that looks like a 1920's gas pump! Standing a whopping 20-1/4" tall on a 4-3/4" x 5-1/4" wooden base that retains its original gold foil sticker saying “American Gas Pump Circa 1920,” this beverage dispenser holds 1 pint, fillable by removing the top “bubble” piece that’s attached to a cork stopper and long aluminum tube that goes down into the liquid. The bubble’s sticker says “Bourbon,” but of course you can fill this dispenser with the liquid of your choice, which you then dispense via the realistic gas pump nozzle, handle mechanism, and long hose, just like you pump gasoline! The bright yellow metal body features five stickers, “Atlantic White Flash Plus Gasoline,” “Contains Lead (Tetraethylene),” “With Ethyl Brand of Anti Knock Compound (Ethyl Gasoline Corporation),” “Genuine Pennzoil Motor Oil,” and “Aviation.” Great vintage condition. No dings, dents, or paint loss to the metal body, no cracks or scratches to the plastic pieces, cork fits tightly and securely, and no cracks or damage to the hose. Some scratching on the cap piece and aluminum tube and a couple of slight scuffs to the wooden base. Comes in a colorful box that’s full of pictures and info. Can you say “nostalgic”? Godinger gas pump beverage dispenser

This shiny metal gas pump beverage dispenser stands over 18-1/2" tall with a base diameter of 5-1/2". Body has an embossed front “label” that says “High Octane, Contains Alcohol.” Holds 1 quart (32 oz), fillable by removing the screw-on 4" diameter top piece that is embossed front and back with a drink glass, complete with ice cubes and stirrer, surrounding bubbles, and a “label” that says “Fill ’Er Up,” which you do by removing the gas pump handle and nozzle from their hook and squeezing the handle. Long black hose is encased and protected by a metal wire corkscrewing around its entire length. Undoubtedly intended to dispense alcoholic drinks at adult parties, but I keep thinking how tickled my son would have been as a kid to have one of these as the centerpiece for a car-themed birthday party. Talk about impressing your friends! Can’t you just picture a bunch of little boys pumping their glasses full of lemonade, fruit juice, or even soda pop? This gas pump beverage dispenser is in great condition with no dings or dents to the metal parts, no cracks or scratches to the plastic container, and no cracks or damage to the hose. Bottom is marked “Godinger.” (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.
