Red roses candle holder
This white cylindrical candle holder is 3-3/8" tall, with intact candle inside and pretty red roses and a Helen Steiner Rice verse outside. The verse reads: “In making others happy you will be happy, too. For the happiness you give away returns to ‘Shine On You’”. Nice sentiment in any age! The 1-3/4" diameter base is unmarked and the candle has been only slightly burned. Perfect condition. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Small rustic bud base
This asymmetrical, rough textured, mottled black and beige bud vase is obviously old. Decor 2-piece butter warmer
This cute little vintage 2-piece white butter warmer has a colorful design on its front consisting of a light green “flower,” a dark green “wave,” and two purple dots. And just in case you’re not up on your butter warming protocol, the top piece says “butter” inside, and the bottom piece says “hot water” inside. The hot water piece has a green mark on its bottom, but I absolutely can’t make it out. Looks like the middle portion could be the word “Decor” in stylized letters. The cup is 2-1/8" tall, the butter holder is 1-1/8" tall, and when fitted together, the two pieces stand 2-1/2" tall. The oval cup is 2-3/4" x 3" and measures 4" across at its handle, with the butter piece measuring 5" across at its handle. Both pieces are in perfect condition: no chips, cracks, crazing, or signs of usage. The unglazed cup “foot” has picked up some discoloration over the years. (Click on picture for more images.) Small Greek urn bud vase
This 3-1/2" tall bud vase has an unglazed blue finish with a gray Greek key design and three Greek figures on both sides. The bottom appears to be applied clear glass and there’s a stamp that I can’t make out. This little urn’s diameters are 1-3/4" at the top and bottom and 1-3/4" at its widest point. It has no cracks, chips, or crazing, but one little flyspeck beneath one set of figures. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Pair of gold framed “pillow” portraits
This is a pair of small, ornately framed portraits of lovely Renaissance ladies. The oval portraits have a “pillow” feel when you press them, and obviously have some kind of padding between them and their bases. Frames are 6" x 3-3/4" and an antique gold color. I can’t tell what they’re made of, maybe wood, maybe some type of a resin. Each has a small triangular wire on the back for hanging. The oval portraits are backed with gold colored felt (?). An attractive little pair. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Small white double-spouted creamer
This is a small pure white porcelain vessel that I’m assuming is an old individual creamer based on its double spouts. It stands 2-1/4" tall, has a 1-3/4" diameter base, and is 2-1/4" from spout tip to spout tip. It shows wear at both the top and bottom. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

German miniature tea cup
This attractive old miniature white china tea cup is decorated with a spray of hand painted purple flowers with yellow centers, green leaves, a brown stem, and “Think of me”done in very fancy gold lettering. There is an additional gold brush stroke on the handle, and originally a gold rim, but this cup is so old that most of the rim gold has worn away. There are three tiny chips on the front rim, but no cracks or crazing. The cup stands 2-3/8" high with a 2-5/8" diameter rim and 1-1/2" diameter base. The circular orange stamp on the bottom says “Made in Germany” and a brown 55 appears to have been added by hand. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Angel figurine
Remember these angel figurines from the 1950's? What young girl didn’t have at least a few? Here’s one more to add to your collection. She’s holding a songbook and singing her heart out. She stands 4-1/2" tall and is in perfect condition. Her gold trim doesn’t even show wear. Guess 50+ years isn’t that long in angel time! (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Wooden spoon and spoon rest
This 11" long wooden spoon rests in its own 2-7/8" x 5-1/2" wooden spoon rest. Beautiful graining on both pieces. Obviously well loved and well used for many decades. Spoon shows definite wear at the edges and the top surface of the handle has a long hairline crack. The exterior of the spoon rest looks like it’s been wet many times. Neat old set and still perfectly usable. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Carr China Co. white butter pat
This is a heavy white butter pat that’s 6-1/8" in diameter. The green back stamp says Carr China Co. There was a Carr China Co. years ago in Grafton, WV. It was founded in 1916 and produced vitrified commercial china in white or tan. Apparently the company was shut down in 1952 when employees began discussing the possibility of forming a union. This plate is in used condition, with scuff marks and one old 1/4" scratch on its face and three minor chips on its back. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.
