Stripes the black and tan tiger

This is Stripes the black and tan tiger. He was born June 11, 1995, and his poem reads:

Stripes was never fierce nor strong
So with tigers, he didn't get along
Jungle life was hard to get by
So he came to his friends at Ty!

Stripes’ tags identify him as one of The Beanie Babies Collection by Ty, Inc. Stripes was retired on June 3, 1996. A second version of Stripes was introduced on June 3, 1996 and retired on May 1, 1998, but our Stripes is the original since his tush tag is dated 1995. He’s surface washable and for children age 3 and up. Perfect condition with no rips, tears, or smudges. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Nuts the squirrel

The most cheerful critter you'll ever see,
He's nuts about nuts, and he loves to chat

Nuts is a brown and white squirrel with black eyes and nose and darker brown whiskers. His marvelous tail is indeed quite bushy! His tags identify him as one of The Beanie Babies Collection by Ty, Inc. Nuts was retired on December 31, 1998. Fleece the lamb

This is Fleece the Lamb. She was born March 21, 1996, and her poem reads:

Fleece would like to sing a lullaby
But please be patient, she's rather shy
When you sleep, keep her by your ear
Her song will leave you nothing to fear.

Fleece’s flocked coat is snow white and she has a beige face and ears and a pink nose. Her tags identify her as one of The Beanie Babies collection by Ty, Inc. Fleece was retired on December 31, 1998. (Don’t confuse our original Fleece with Fleecie the Lamb who was born on January 26, 2000 and retired on July 14, 2000.) Our Fleece is surface washable and for children age 3 and up. She’s in near mint condition with no rips or tears, but she has a couple of small brown spots on her left side. I don’t know whether they were meant to be there or not, and we’ve made no attempt to wash her. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Hissy the snake

This is an “error tag” Hissy the Snake. He was born April 4, 1997, and his poem reads:

Curled and coiled and ready to play
He waits for you patiently every day
He'll keep his best friend, but not his skin
And stay with you through thick and thin.

Hissy is a two-tone green snake and even though he’s coiled up and showing his red tongue, he doesn’t look at all scary. His hang tag identifies him as one of The Beanie Babies Collection by Ty, Inc., so he’s definitely authentic, but his tush tag identifies him as Iggy. Oops! There’s the error. Iggy was actually an Iguana issued in three varieties in 1997! Can’t the folks at Ty tell the difference between a snake and an iguana? Hissy was retired March 31, 1999. He’s surface washable and for children age 3 and up. Perfect condition with no rips, tears, or smudges. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Well, gee, how can you hang ten when you’re got only two – flippers, that is! Slippery is a gray seal with black eyes, nose, and whiskers. His tags identify him as one of The Beanie Babies Collection by Ty, Inc. Slippery was retired on December 23, 1999. He’s surface washable and for children age 3 and up.
