Pair of Collector lidded mugs

This is a set of two 3-1/2" tall x 3" diameter white lidded mugs with an overall design of red strawberries, white flowers, green leaves, brown leaves, and a brown vine. The 3-1/4" diameter lids have a 2-1/2" diameter base ring that fit inside the mugs, but also have a lip around their top edge that allows them to do double duty as display bases or coasters for the mugs. The mugs’ bottoms have the artist’s signature, plus the words “Collector Mug by Action; Made in Japan”. All four pieces are in mint condition: no chips, cracks, or crazing. A very pretty set. Painted Poppy coffee mug

This is a 4-3/8" tall coffee mug in the popular Painted Poppy pattern that features – what else? – colorful painted poppies on both the front and back and gold banding around the top and bottom. The bottom is marked “Painted Poppy, Fanci Florals Collection; Japan; Genuine Porcelain China”. This mug has a 3" diameter mouth and 2-1/4" diameter base. It has no cracks or crazing, but it has been used. There’s a small chip at the back rim and wear to the front gold banding where an obviously right-handed former owner undoubtedly sipped many cups of coffee over the course of many years. Cowboy boot mug

Here’s a nifty clear glass mug in the shape and style of a classic square-toed cowboy boot. Mug stands 6" tall with a 2-7/8" rim diameter and measures 3-3/4" across at both the foot and the handle. Co-Mo Electric Co-op coffee mug

This large white pottery souvenir coffee mug with green and white logo and green printing commemorates the 50th anniversary (1939-1989) of the Co-Mo Electric Cooperative in the counties of Cooper, Moniteau, Morgan, and Camden, presumably in Tennessee based on the quote on the back which reads: “Brothers and sisters, I want to tell you this. The greatest thing on earth is to have the love of God in your heart, and the next greatest thing is to have electricity in your house.” This is attributed to “Farmer giving witness in a rural Tennessee church in the early 1940s.” Amen! The mug stands 4" tall, is 3-1/4" in diameter, and has a large applied handle. Unmarked on the bottom. We have two of these mugs and price is for each. American Century coffee mug

Looking almost like a handled terra cotta flower pot, this 4-1/2" tall coffee mug is 3-3/4" in diameter at it mouth tapering down to a 2-5/8" diameter base. The matte glazed exterior features the American Century tree logo on the front and says “American Century Personalized Rollover Service” plus the company’s telephone number and web site address, all in black lettering. Nice large handle. Interior is a shiny glaze and the bottom base ring is unglazed. Base marked “M Wear China.” We have two of these mugs and price is for each. Both show a little age discoloration on their unglazed base rings, but are in perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratching. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Large brown drip glaze mug

This is a large 4-3/4" high x 3-1/4" diameter deep brown coffee mug with white drip glazing at the rim. It is marked Japan on the bottom.
