Crystal bell
This elegant crystal bell is 3" in diameter and stands 4-3/4" tall to the top of its 6-sided prism faceted handle. Three 12-point “feather stars” alternate with three 8-point stars imbedded in geometrics that feature three rays at the bottom. The stem is finely notched. Silver colored ball clapper is suspended from a chain and produces a lovely ring. I have found no markings on this beautiful vintage bell that is in perfect condition, with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Pres Cut candy dish
This is an unusually shaped candy dish that measures 7-1/2" x 7-3/8" x 1-1/2" high at the top of its undulating sawtooth rim. It is stamped “Pres Cut” in the center, indicating an EAPG piece, and I believe the pattern to be Fentec. Apparently “Pres Cut” was a trademark name of Imperial (or was it McKee?) at the turn of the 20th Century for its line of pressed pattern glass pieces made in “imitation cut” of the much more expensive cut glass pieces of the era. This piece is in amazingly good condition for its age, with no nicks, cracks, or scratches. One of the saw teeth has chipped off and close scrutiny reveals chips on two others. Large lead crystal cut glass bowl
This is a heavy, deeply cut leaded crystal bowl that measures 9-1/4" in diameter x 2-1/2" deep. It features a large 6-point faceted star on the bottom, surrounded by additional finely cut stars and geometrics that curve around the bottom and continue up the sides. Light refraction is absolutely superb! Top sawtooth and rounded sawtooth edge is 3/8" thick and curved according to the patterns underneath the edge. Two of the sawtooth points have very shallow chips that can be felt but are very difficult to see. With a great deal of effort I have also found four tiny chips on the edges of some of the deeper cuts. Again, these are nearly impossible to see due to the overall beautiful design, but I’m doing excruciating “due diligence” here. Unmarked as to maker, but obviously of the highest quality. Overall assessment: a gorgeous, substantial piece that would be a prized addition to any collection. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Lead crystal knife rest
This is an absolutely exquisite heavily faceted lead crystal knife rest that measures 4-3/4" long and has a diameter of 2" at its widest points. With an overall barbell shape, the 12-point stars at either end become 12 deep facets whose top edges are decorated with zipper cuts and, in the middle, one oval notch surrounded by two diamond notches. The bottom points of six alternating facets then become the top edge of the 6-sided concave center portion where a knife would rest. Each of those edges contains matching zipper cuts and notches. No markings to identify the maker. Excellent condition with no chips, nicks, or cracks. Several of the six concave surfaces have very light usage scratching that you can’t see but can feel if you run your fingernail over the surfaces. Frankly, this piece is so gorgeous that I can’t believe anyone would actually rest a grungy knife on it. I think it should be a paper weight! (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Block lead crystal tulip vase
This is an exquisite 8" tall 24% lead crystal vase with 6 raised and frosted tulips whose flowers form the vase’s mouth and whose stems and leaves are raised and/or deeply mitered all the way to the vase’s bottom. Glass is a full 1/4" thick. 4-3/4" in diameter at its “scalloped” top produced by the tulip tops, 3-3/4" in diameter at its widest point, and 2-1/2" in diameter at its base. Very heavy for its size, and all that mitering causes the vase to flash rainbow prism colors in the light. Carries its original paper sticker that says “Block Hand Crafted 24% Full Lead Crystal”. Absolutely perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. In fact, it’s still in its original box which adds the information that it’s the “Tulip 8" vase T2221" and “Made in Poland”. Sure to become a treasured heirloom, this vase would make a wonderful wedding or housewarming gift!(Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Set of 4 Hawkes lead crystal juice tumblers
This is a set of four beautiful Hawkes crystal juice tumblers that stand just a shade over 3-1/2" tall with 2-3/4" diameter mouths and 2-1/4" diameter bases. Pattern consists of 8-pointed stars, 9-pointed fans, and elongated stippled diamonds, with a 24-point star on the bottom. We found the Hawkes mark on the bottom of one, but can’t find it on the others, although obviously all four glasses are identical in pattern. Two of the glasses are in absolutely perfect condition, but each of the other two has a small fleabite at the rim, which is reflected in our price for this lovely foursome of exceptional quality Hawkes crystal. Celebrations lead crystal Sweet Heart bowl
This is a beautiful 4" tall 24% lead crystal “Sweet Heart” bowl that features eight scalloped panels, each containing a raised and mitered heart. Encircling the lower portion of the bowl are eight mitered geometric designs, one below each panel. The bottom contains a 16-point mitered star. Glass is a full 1/4" thick and sparkles in the light. 5-1/2" in diameter at its scalloped top and 3" in diameter at its base. Carries two original paper stickers. The one on the side is a double circle, the center of which depicts a piece of stemware with the words “Crystal Clear” underneath. The outer circle says “Made in U.S.A.” and “24% Lead Crystal”. The sticker on the bottom indicates that this bowl might have been intended as a candle bowl because it contains a warning (in both English and French) that says “Never leave a burning candle unattended. Do not burn candle to bottom. Trim wick before each use.” I seriously doubt that anyone has ever used this bowl at all, let alone for holding a burning candle! It’s in perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. It’s still in its original box which calls it a Celebrations “Sweet Heart” bowl distributed by Crystal Clear Industries in New York. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.
