1991 Belmont Stakes glass

This is a 1991 Belmont Stakes glass that is the exact same size as Kentucky Derby mint julep glasses, being 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. Midsection of glass is frosted, and white banner with green bottom border and lettering wraps around the front half of the glass saying “Belmont Stakes 1991.” Front features a race horse, jockey, and trees. Colors are brown, tan, green, white, red, and black, underneath which is “133rd Running” in white letters. Sides and back list all Belmont winners from 1867-1990, with Triple Crown winners marked with a dot. Carries the NYRA (New York Racing Association) logo and also says “ARA Leisure Services, Inc., © 1991 All Rights Reserved.” Glass is in perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. 1992 Belmont Stakes glass

This is a 1992 Belmont Stakes glass that is the exact same size as Kentucky Derby mint julep glasses, being 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. Midsection of glass is frosted all around with a green stripe at both the top and bottom of the frosting. Front shows three racehorses and jockeys in gold, red, and purple respectively, underneath which is “Belmont Stakes, 124th Running, June 6, 1992.” Back lists all the Belmont winners from 1867-1991 with Triple Crown winners marked with a star. 1994 Pat Day Belmont Stakes glass

This is the 1994 Signature Series Belmont glass signed by Pat Day, the jockey who won the 1994 Belmont on Tabasco Cat. Front of this clear non-frosted glass features two silhouetted race horses and jockeys flanking the Belmont tree, above which is “126th Running, Belmont,” and below which is “Stakes, June 11, 1994.” Colors are green, yellow and brown. Large Pat Day signature and this glass is 159 of the limited series of 1000 signed by Pat Day. Back lists all the Belmont winners from 1867-1993. Glass is the exact same size as Kentucky Derby mint julep glasses, being 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. Perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. This is a 1994 Belmont Stakes glass that is the exact same size as Kentucky Derby mint julep glasses, being 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. Belmont glasses almost always have frosted midsections, but for whatever reason, the 1994 glass does not. Front says “126th Running Belmont Stakes, June 11, 1994,” and features two race horses and jockeys in front of a large stylized tree. Colors are Green, red, yellow, and black, with green bands encircling the glass above and below the design. Sides and back list all Belmont winners from 1867-1993, with Triple Crown winners marked with a dot. Carries the NYRA (New York Racing Association) logo and also says “Impressions, Saratoga Springs, N.Y.” Glass is in perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. 1998 limited edition gold Belmont Stakes glass

This is a rare 22-karet gold glass produced in a limited edition of 1000 for the 130th running of the Belmont Stakes in 1998. At 5-5/8" tall, this glass is slightly taller than a regular mint julep glass, but it has the same 2-3/4" diameter. On the front, the New York skyline is depicted in 22-karet gold with a clear glass silhouette of a racehorse and jockey in front. Below the graphic is “Belmont Stakes, 130th Running, June 6, 1998” also in 22-karet gold. Upper and lower gold bands encircle the glass and the sides and back list in gold all the Belmont winners from 1867-1997, with Triple Crown winners marked with a star. This glass is handnumbered 961/1000 in gold, and that number is also shown on the Certificate of Authenticity that comes with this glass. 2004 Belmont Stakes glass

This is a 2004 Belmont Stakes glass that is the exact same size as Kentucky Derby mint julep glasses, being 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. Front depicts a close-up head-on view of a horse and jockey in black and white, surrounded by a red border. A wide red band encircling the bottom of the glass says “Belmont Stakes June 5, 2004. Sides and back list all Belmont winners from 1867-2003 on a frosted design that I’m assuming is carnations, but it’s difficult to tell. 2006 Belmont Stakes glass

This is a 2006 Belmont Stakes glass that is the exact same size as Kentucky Derby mint julep glasses, being 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter. Midsection of the glass is frosted with a top border of the New York skyline in deep blue and a bottom border of blue and green stripes. Front has a dark blue line drawing of the New York skyline, in front of which is a silhouette of a race horse and jockey plus “Belmont Stakes” in green. Underneath is “New York, June 10. 2006” in blue. Sides and back list all Belmont winners from 1867-2005 with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown and fillies marked with a dot. 2008 Triple Crown glass set

Here’s your chance to get a complete set of all four 2008 Triple Crown mint julep glasses: one each for the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness, and the Belmont, plus the Triple Crown glass.

The Kentucky Derby glass has a frosted front midsection and depicts a stylized race horse and jockey in red, white, and blue, with two stylized renditions of the Churchill Downs spires, one in frosted blue, and the other in clear glass. “Kentucky Derby 134” underneath, and “Churchill Downs, Saturday, May 3, 2008 below that. Back lists all the Kentucky Derby winners from 1875-2007, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown and fillies marked with a rose.

The Preakness glass features the 2008 Preakness logo in bright red, orange, yellow, and black and says “Pimlico, May 17, 2008, 133 Preakness, a Magna Entertainment Experience.” Frosted diamonds encircle the midsection and the back lists all the Preakness winners from 1873-2073, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown.

The Belmont glass has a sloping frosted midsection with top and bottom borders of blue and orange. Front shows a racehorse and jockey bursting through an orange circle with blue banners. Wording is “June 7th - 2008, Belmont Stakes 140, New York, NYRA.” Colors are orange, blue, tan, black, and white. Sides and back of glass list all the Belmont winners from 1867-2007, with Triple Crown winners marked with a crown and fillies marked with a dot.

The Triple Crown glass features a gold and purple crown on the front, a gold racehorse and jockey, and says “Triple Crown, Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, Belmont Stakes.” The names of the three racetracks (Churchill Downs, Pimlico Race Course, Belmont Park) encircle the glass at top and bottom. Back lists the 11 Triple Crown winners.

All four glasses are 5-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" in diameter, and all are in perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches.. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.
