Set of 3 Syracuse individual ashtrays

This is a set of three thick porcelain 4" diameter ash trays made by the Syracuse China Co. Each ashtray has three white flowers with reddish-brown centers, green leaves, and brown stems. Each is marked with the green “Syracuse China U.S.A” mark on its back, but they carry different ID
numbers. One is 3-MM, one is 5-JJ, and the third is 6-KK. All are in perfect condition: no chips, cracks, crazing, discoloration, or any sign of wear. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Ceramic Italian ashtray

This 7-5/8" square pink ceramic ashtray features a masked harlequin figure dancing and playing a horn, surrounded by looped streamers and confetti. Looks very Mardi Gras or Carnival. The back is marked “9689_P, W.C.&G, Italy”. Probably dates to the 1960's. Perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, or any signs of use. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Large pink and black retro ashtray

Holy cow! Did somebody say retro??? This big ol’ ceramic ashtray absolutely screams late 1950's when pink and black were all the rage. 2” tall with a 7-1/2” unglazed base ring. Recessed bottom is also unglazed. Pink sides flare out to the 11” diameter top that also features lots of gray and white marbling patterns as well as the solid black rim and solid pink center. 32 cigarette rests! Perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, or any signs of use. Those gray marks you see in the pink center are paint flecks under the matte glaze. The unglazed bottom portions are discolored with age. So, guys & gals, slick back your ducktails, grab your poodle skirt, maybe even light up a ciggy butt (from the pack rolled in the sleeve of your white t-shirt), and let’s all fondly remember those “Happy Days” of the Fabulous Fifties! Brass crab ashtray

This 4-1/2" x 7-1/4" x 2-1/4" tall shiny brass crab flips his lid (upper shell) to reveal a 2-3/4" x 2" ashtray that’s a separate lift-out piece, I assume for easy emptying and cleaning. Both pieces are in excellent condition. He makes a neat display piece even if you don’t need (or want) to use him as an ashtray! (Click on picture for more images.)

Buffalo China George Washington Chesapeake & Ohio RR ashtray

These old Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad ash trays are nearly impossible to find in any condition, and ours is absolutely perfect! No chips, cracks, crazing, or discoloration whatsoever! Crystal clear black silhouette and script lettering on sparkling white by Buffalo China. Approximately 3-1/2" wide x 7" long x 1" deep. On the front, in crisp lettering, it says “Chesapeake and Ohio Lines - George Washington’s Railroad - Original Predecessor Company founded by George Washington in 1785". Inside, it is graced with a silhouette of Washington on the front of the match holder. On the bottom it is marked Buffalo China in a style used between 1915 and the 1940's. What a beautiful addition to any railroad enthusiast’s collection, or to anyone’s vintage tobacciana collection! (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Square porcelain ashtray

This is a very pretty 5-1/8" white porcelain ashtray with a spray of pink roses in its center and gold trim at all edges and the four cigarette holders. It looks like it’s never been used, and is marked “Japan” on the back. No chips, cracks, crazing, or discoloration. Very slight wear to gold edge. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Small hand-painted ashtray

This delicate little white porcelain ash tray is decorated with a hand-painted flower spray in shades of deep pink, purple, and green. Both cigarette rests are tipped in gold. Originally there was gold around the entire rim, but most of this has worn away over the years. The tray is a mere 2" x 3-3/8", increasing to 3-7/8" from tip to tip of the two cigarette rests. No chips, cracks, or crazing, and thankfully this little beauty looks like it was never used for its intended purpose. I think it would rather be a pin tray! (Click on picture for more images.)
